What is the big deal with the Drake?

I haven't ever heard of them. I know my local B&M had some, and a bunch of guys over at botl.com are upset with them because they didn't ship any to people who wanted to order by phone. The shop sold them to the locals. So what is the big stink on them.

Ha. I know one huge deal is you can't get your freaking hands on them. Just called my local B&M and they are only offering them to locker members and only per stick. I'm sure that adds to the allure.

Cheers,
Brad

Re: What is the big deal with the Drake?

It is a seasonal Cigar released by Tatuaje. It is a part of their monster series.

From Tatuaje's Website
The Drac 63/4 x 52 Torpedo - Wrapper: Habano Maduro - 1,300 boxes of 13 cigars produced

Beyond that someone else in the forum may know a bit more about the series.

Re: What is the big deal with the Drake?

a rare cigar to get your hands on is the main reason. There were 1300 boxes released and only 13 sticks to a box. if my bath is correct then only 16,900 were released in total. I personally got 2 boxes since i run a shop and i plan to smoke one and set the other back.

Mainly Hype and it's a Tat.

My Local is doing a lottery for customers that have purchased from them online and first come first serve for the locals...
