Do cigars have better years like wine?
Do cigars have years that within the same brand are better than others. I know the answer to this has to be yes, but I guess I was wondering the amount of fluctuation. Also is there any way to know when you buy a cigar that it has been sitting in a humidor for a year or two or is brand new, maybe from the box or something?
Just curious. Had a good cigar the other day and thinking about building a simple coolidor to store a few so I can have one handy when the mood hits me. |

Re: Do cigars have better years like wine?
First off, welcome to the site!
As for your question, yes. This is particularly true with some Habanos of the past. I'm not sure of the years but they had a bad period at the beginning of the decade I believe. |
