Cool Cuban tobacco industry speech

Ok, so I am about to start writing a speech for public speaking class, about the cuban tobacco industry. Yes, I'm a pathological procrastinater, and it's due tomorrow morning, but it shouldn't be too hard... Anyways, anyone have any cool fun facts and/or pics they wanna share that I could throw in it?

I can't remember if it was here or somewhere else I read it, but JFK had about 800 cuban cigars rounded up for his personal use right before he signed the embargo.

Do a torrent search for "The Fabulous Story of Puro" or "The Fabulous Story of Cuban Cigar."

It's a nice documentary on Cuban cigars. It should give you a ton of information.

Hehe.

Also, re: JFK's pre-embargo cigars, he actually had his aide buy more like 1200 before he signed the embargo. (As if 800 wouldn't have been enough.)

I always wondered what ever happened to all those H. Upmanns. I.e., who smoked the last one. I doubt any of them made it past the Nixon administration.
