Folks
Last night I tried an Oliva Series V Spec Figurodo and really liked it.
In reading many post it is ofter said that the torpedo is better.
I am looking to buy a box and any input is appreciated

These are good cigars. The question you have to ask is whether you like the flavor that comes from the wrapper or from the filler. The Lancero will highlight the wrapper. The Torpedo focuses more on the filler. The Figurado grows in intensity from the wrapper as you smoke it.

Everyone has different tastes. Try them all and decide for yourself.

Hey, you're pretty smart for a kid.

Though I've only had the lancero in the V, I've found this assessment to be generally true. It's why I like lanceros when it's a cigar whose wrapper is especially tasty. Maybe somebody could enlighten me further, but could it be that figurados use thicker leaves of a given wrapper and that heightens the effect of the wrapper? Just speculating - and sorry for the slight thread jack.

I smoked most of the sizes and you really can't go wrong with any of them. I personally love the Lancero, Double Toro, and Torpedo.

My favorite is the figurado for it's varying taste as I smoke it, but I also like the lancero. Come to think of it I seem to like the beginning of the figuardo the best which would be the part most like the lancero!

I like the lancero a bit more than the figurado only becuase the lancero didnt punch me in the face like the figurado did.
