This is what I was thinking of looking for over the winter. The only tin size I've tried is the Ashton Esquire and they were pretty decent.

Re: Petit Coronas

I actually thought the RP 1990 Juniors in the 5 pack tins were pretty good. They had a nutty flavor to them with hints of coffee and chocolate. Tasty and a good 20-30 min smoke. I don't know if the petite coronas taste the same or not. Maybe worth a try. Right now I'm really enjoying an assortment of CC minis. Perfect for the 15 min drive home.

Re: Petit Coronas

Has anyone tried CAO Brazilia Piranha? I really liked the Gol it was a great smoke and my local B&M has the Piranha version that I might pick up?

the others mentioned here my local B&M does not have except for Tres Mystique but it is expensive $12.20

for that price I may as well pick up the Padron 64 principe for $11 which is a great smoke

though i am going to probably going to try other sources to try these other petit coronas that were mentioned

The Piranha is quite good, as is the Tres Mistique & the Padron 64.
I would say the VSG is as good as the Padron, just different.

I bought 50 of the CAO Italia Piccolas and enjoy them. I have not tried the CAO Criollos in the same size but want to. I need to try some of the above mentioned when funds and the opportunity coincide.

Those are the only Criollos that I care for. For some reason they taste a lot better in the smaller size than the regular lines. The Italia is the same way ... no idea why, they just seem to have a much more pronounced taste.

I'm feelin' ya on the nowhere to smoke indoors thing. My local shop lets me hang out in the lounge but they are closed on Sunday. I bought a tin of 10 AVO Domaine Puritos and sat outside in the (semi) warm weather today. Not sure how long I'll be doing that.

What about the don kiki botellas from Cuban Crafters? I haven't tried them yet but I plan to. Anyone have any experience with them?

Re: Petit Coronas

I tried the CAO Brazilia Piranha and that was really good though that took me a lot longer to smoke then I thought

I also tried a Padron Londres..that got way too hot..I am finding with Petit Coronas you have to be really careful they burn very hot if not too careful, I actually burned my tongue on the Padron Londres and did not even realized it and was not even smoking it fast

Saw that, and am tempted, but am also thinking of pulling the trigger on the Camacho's at cigar.com and there is a Jam.
