Re: What the heck is this grenade looking cigar

It looks like a Drew Estate Egg. I've got a couple about 3 years old, which I haven't smoked and don't think I will, but they are a good conversation piece.

I always wanted to smooke one just to say I did it. Almost pulled the trigger when Monster had one pretty cheap. Don't know why, but I figure I need to do it once.

I have two of these in my pseudo-humidor (china cabinets not completely converted yet!). It's the Egg and I haven't smoked one either. For some reason, I'd feel like I was sucking on a sweet potato!

Re: What the heck is this grenade looking cigar

I tried one while I was deployed. I'm not a big Drew Estate fan as a general rule, but it was one of those things I couldn't pass up. A good friend bought two and shared. It tasted like a normal Drew Estate cigar, but I remember it burning really hot.

I bet those things do burn hot. I can only imagine how hard it was to keep that thing burning evenly. WOW! I bet you could light that, play a full round of golf, get home and take a nap, only to rise and keep smoking it.

Re: What the heck is this grenade looking cigar

I actually smoked one. Nothing special. Took a lot of touchups to keep it burning even. If I remember correctly it took about 2 hours to smoke. I can't post pics yet or I would. The ash stayed on to the nub and looked pretty cool. It's one of things you do just so you could say you did it.

I once smoked a joint that big in high school, well 10 of us did. It created a lot of smoke and a consumption of a lot of cheeseburgers, and good night of sleep.
