Wow man, that stuff is sweet. You'd never know it was just a magazine ad. How did you make the clock? I think I'd buy that. haha

I cut the back of the box out with a steak knife, nailed a hanger on the back, drilled a whole in the front, bought a clock which you can find at any hobby store and put it in there.

There is a guy on EBay that actually sells Cigar Box Clocks.... They are abour $20+ depending on the brand on the box.

You can get the clock parts off ebay CHEAP and use yur favorite box. Im waiting to grab a cool looking box from the B&M and make a clock or four.

He's sold the Opus X cigar box clocks for up to $60. And I've seen a few others for around $30-40 depending on the box. I'm thinking about selling them on eBay as well. Why not?

I'd pay $30 for that but I may have to try making one for myself.

Re: Homemade Cigar Art

Awesome job Smitty. Very nice! I'm not very artistic... my first attempt at some cigar art working my bands into a collage, looked sorta like a grade 3 art project. Needless to say, I tossed it in the garbage and have since decided to smoke more and art less!

What I did is center the two Opus X pages in the frames and taped them in, then painted two pieces of card stock paper black & put a strip on the top & bottom of each picture to hide the back of the frame (which you can't hardly tell unless you're really looking). I tried 8x10's but its just to small so I had to compromise because I cant afford custom frames. Gotta be a little creative, post pics once you get something set up.
