Is the Perdomo Lot23 nat. supposed
to taste like sage? I`m about to toss this at the halfway stage (Yap, just tossed it). First one I ever had and was hoping for the best, but way too much sage, tastes like I`m smoking a weed. Hardly a hint of tobacco taste in it.
Anyone else get this from this particular gar? Thanks Randy

That is odd. I've never tasted sage in a cigar before--even a lot 23. Wonder what that's all about...

Yeah, Idonno, Randy. The Lot 23's I had were maddie, I think. They definitely had an odd flavor to them, mine were more of a citrus-twangy under the maduro sweetness. It was really weird lol but I smoked all 5 of them in rapid succession. Sorry you had a yucky experience!

Never had that experience with the Lot 23. But I was disappointed with the ones I had. I love most Perdomo's but that one doesn't do it for me. The cheaper Slow Age 826's are better imho.

Well, maybe I`m coming down with some tube neck, LOL. My taster has been a wee bit off as I`v been doing some heavier gars lately (5V cask, MOW), but still,,,,,, Without saying a thing I handed it to the Wife and she said the same thing, sage. Pretty much yucky covered in yuck.
Maybe "we`re" coming down with the flu, LOL. I`m sure to give this one a second go, the sampler it comes in is a steal,  It`ll get one more shot before I completely poo-poo it, LOL. Cheers, Randy

i have had a bad one before that had some off flavors to it wasnt sage, but it wasnt pleasant, try another one
