Perfect morning in Southern Ontario

Just finished a morning stogie on the front porch. 16 degrees celcius here this morning! The sun was shining, the Lavazza espresso was delicious, and the Upmann Corona Junior was a great little morning smoke, chocked full of cuban tobacco flavor! My 2 dogs laid out on the porch for 1/2 hour with me while I smoked.... it was bliss! I think the only thing that could have made this morning any better was if it started to rain money and/or fine cigars!! Just had the urge to share my perfect morning with the rest of you fine folks here at Puff. Hope your day is as good as mine's shaping up to be!

That's awesome Jimmy. I've been thinking about sitting out and enjoying a nice smoke too- we're in the same weather pattern. It's too nice of a day to miss out on the opportunity. In fact, you've talked me into it; I'm going out right now.

Re: Perfect morning in Southern Ontario

An Upmann Corona Junior that I bought in Scotland is the exact cigar that pushed me down the slope, about a year-and-a-half ago. There were many before it, and many more after, but that one was the "watershed" for me, changed cigars from an occasional indulgence to an obsession. I still have the tubo right here next to me.

Nice way to start your morning Jimmy, too bad those days are numbered. Having a Chateau Fuente maduro on the deck right now. 8* and dropping. yikes!

Re: Perfect morning in Southern Ontario

It was such a nice day here today - not as nice as Friday, but still pretty good, I smoked 2 cigars this afternoon after my siesta. The first was an IT Cameroon, followed by a 2 year old Hemingway Short Storie. What a great fall this has been!!

Re: Perfect morning in Southern Ontario

It's been absolutely freezing here the past few days, and suddenly tomorrow is supposed to be 70F.

I'm going to wake up and sit outside, smoke a Nica Libre and maybe post a nice review for everyone here on puff.

Re: Perfect morning in Southern Ontario

It was a nice morning here in Michigan as well. Went outside wearing a T-Shirt, let my dog play in the back yard, and I sat under the grapevine and smoke a LVH Madruo. It's very stress relieving. It's like a cup overflowing with stress, and days like this allow that cup to tip over and empty out. Very relaxing.

Re: Perfect morning in Southern Ontario

My weekend smoke was on Saturday. Headed over to a buddy's house before the Flames game, it was cold out so we went into the garage and got a heater going. Three of us were smoking, I had a San Cristóbal de La Habana La Fuerza (really liked it), buddy had a Partagas Serie D No. 4, and my other buddy had a Ramon Allones Specially Selected (one from the box I bought last week). Let me tell you, three cigars going in a one car garage with no windows or doors open = quite the haze!

Afterward we all went to the Flames game and watched them beat the Rangers 3-1. Seventh row from the ice in the corner of the Flames attack zone. Good evening all in all.

The warm weather continues. Tuesday afternoon I smoked a Padron Londres sitting in the sun in the back yard. I wonder when the sn*w will come.
