the smaller the ring gauge the more wrapper flavor you'll get. you get about 70-80% of the flavor from the wrapper. the longer the cigar the more it will develope twards the end of the smoke, you will get a more complex finish. but the main difference really is the time factor, if you are willing to comittee to an hour and a half of smoking a churchill
