I am headed to Richmond, VA this weekend and I was wondering if it is worth it to stop in at Havana Connections down on Carry (sp?) Street?

I've always wanted to visit Richmond. My g-g-grandparents settled there but left during the Depression.

The 1890 city directory said they had a clothing store at 102 South 8th St.
The 1900 census said they lived at 220 W. Broad St.
In 1910 they were at 9 N. 17th St.
In 1920 at 202 S. 4th St.

What are these places like, today?

The only Havana Connections that I've been to is the one on Midlothian Turnpike. It's a well stocked store, but expect to pay retail. I wasn't aware they had one on Cary Street, but that means nothing because I'm very seldom in that section of Richmond. You wouldn't be thinking of Old Virginia Tobacco Co. on 3532 W. Cary St. would you? I've never been there either. Sorry for not being much help.
