Great find Today

Went to the beach for the day and decided I would hit one of my favorite cigar shops. Picked up a few Aurora 1495 and exchanged a bad hygro I got a while back. Then the girl tells me they got a box of Anejo 49's that came in last week. She said it was the first box she had seen in a long time. Grabbed seven of them, would have liked to bought more but the wife asked me to keep it near $100. This score made my day.

Nice pick up. My local had not gotten in the Opus X shipment as of this past Friday. I'm going by tomorrow to see what they have. Fuente is usually pretty good to them.

If you don't mind me asking, how much were they charging? My local B&M was charging $38 bucks for an Anejo No. 55. Which was way over MSRP?

Anyone know of any internet retailers who have them in stock and aren't charging ridiculus prices? Or if you did are they all gone aready, perhaps in your own shopping cart?

Sadly from all I'm hearing, there will be no "second" shipment of Anejos this year. There do seem to be a few places getting some that have trickled through, but not enough to see any showing up on web sites.

$38 is ridiculous, don't encourage this stupidity, by even thinkig of buying them. I guess when there aren't any around, people can gouge the customer.

Oh man! You wasted a *perfect* opportunity here! As everybody knows $500 is pretty much "near" to $100. You shoulda grabbed the whole box.

Checked with my local B&M today and what do you know...No Anejo's. However, they did get in 8 boxes of Opus X and since one of them was my favorite size, the Fuente Fuente, I had to spend a little dough this afternoon.

This local shop sell everything at retail. The Anejo 49's were $10.50. Today I also picked up 8 OpusX from the same shop also at retail.

Lucky!!! I wish I could find some Ajeno's around MSRP. Opus I should be able to get, once they arrive.

Sweet find . And at retail even better . They're good but definately not worth $38 each , that retailer should be reported to Fuente , if they are an authorized Fuente dealer , for gouging .
