54 dollars total. Judging from several good reviews on the Maria Mancini and Consuegra lines here on Club Stogie, I went ahead and clicked submit. I hope I enjoy these Cigars. I like the box pressed cigars.

has anybody had the Robusto sized Maria Mancini's in Maduro? I hope they are a good medium to strong stick. o

They are definitely "strong", although in my opinion they were a bit harsh. Perhaps more aging was in order to smooth out the rough edges.

I have a good friend who REALLY likes these ... orders one box after another. I've gifted him all kinds of cigars to give him a taste for different ones. He keeps going back to these. Just goes to show you that taste is a very personal thing and everyone is different.

Agreed. I bought a box of Robusto Largas a couple of years ago and the first one I smoked was extremely harsh. I put them in the cooler and essentially forgot about them for close to a year and a half. What a difference! Not as "in your face" and wonderfully smooth. Even some of my friends who don't smoke cigars that often have commented on how good they are. MM seems to be a good line for aging.

(Note to self...buy a box or two to replenish the cooler.)

I really like the big Magic Mountain vitola. The H2000 wrapper has come a long way from the time these cigars were first produced with it.

I haven't smoked any of these but I did order a bundle of JR's Cohiba Robustos and they are pretty good smokes. Very mellow with a good flavor and that was right off the truck, should be real tasty in a few months.

Just had a MM De Gaulle Maduro the other day that had been in the cooler for about 9 months and it was just fine. Really enjoyed it. You might also try the MM Magic Mountain if you order again since they offer a 5 pack for $9.95 Have smoked MM's for several years now and have found a little age helps. It along with La Finca Blacks are my garage/workshop smoke these days.

I ordered a bundle of those myself. They seem a bit inconsistent so far. Wrapper seems a bit thin and had a few burn problems with my first couple of sticks. I had one a few nights ago that turned out pretty good though. Nice woody taste and a nice burn. Few spit repairs to the wrapper however. Perhaps they just need to rest for awhile. Can't beat the price though!
