I agree on the beads and lots of cigars to fill it. Congrats on the purchase. Word of advice, dont bid on humidors when you have been drinking. I have learned the hard way three times in the past. Enjoy

With a 20 cigar capacity, you might want to try a small Humidi Puck from Cigarmony.com

If you are planning on upgrading (it wouldnt be a bad idea due to the "slippery slope" and all ) you would probably be better off with a half pound or so of beads as DriftyGypsy mentioned.

Yep, beads. Just in case you're wondering, here's the link:

I second the small Humidi-Puck suggestion. I have one in a 20 count humi and it works great.

Re: So I just bought this humidor... Do I need anything else?

I got that same humi with 10 of the 06 Limitada's. It seals pretty well, not a bad little humi. I am using it for a dry box, but I think the humidi-puck is probably the best idea. Either that, or a small tube of beads.
You WILL be getting something bigger soon, but rather than look at another humi consider a cooler, and keep this as your smoke from.

The HumidiPuck is excellent, just be really careful when you open it up to wet the foam. They don't warn you it throws tiny white and clear beads everywhere if you're not super careful.

I dont think you are supposed to open it up to fill. Simp,ly mist the top of the unit with the holes in it and you are set. RJT

Yes a half pound of 65% beads, an eighty quart cooler to keep them in and an Oust fan to move the air around.

Re: So I just bought this humidor... Do I need anything else?

Yeah, the Humidi-Puck instructions say to "carefully open" and wet the foam part. I didn't open carefully but the beads rolling all over the floor make a really cool sound.

Wetting it without opening is probably a much smarter stragedy.
