Saving Cigar rings?

I was wondering what everyone does with their cigar rings. I like to keep track of everything... so I tape the rings into a book of blank pages and rate them in such a way that I will remember what I liked or disliked about them. After reading many reviews on CS I now know I need to make my reviews a little more detailed. It's kinda cool to look back (not too far for me) and see all the different rings I have tried (I only keep 1 of each ring-no duplicates) I was wondering if anyone else does a similar thing?

I also paste them into a book and write a few comments about how it was, so I can remember what to buy in the future.

I just throw them in an empty cigar box for later use (for what, I don't know yet.)

Re: Saving Cigar rings?

I'm trying to build a collage to fit in a picture frame to go in my den. It's pretty much the only room I was able to decorate. So needless to say it's pretty much mob/fire department/cigar related decorations. The rest of the house is hers.

Neoflex,

Sweet Idea, some of the art on these wrappers can be awsome.

Re: Saving Cigar rings?

I used to tape them in a book with a little rating, but I sort of got away from it, now I put them in a box for some reason maybe one day I will figure out what to do with them.

Re: Saving Cigar rings?

I used to save them in a book and write reviews, now I only review special smokes, ones I don't smoke all the time. I just throw the other bands in the garbage. Gettin' lazy...

I put mine in the ashtray and burn them, then I get the death glare from my woman and she calls me "Pyro".

Re: Saving Cigar rings?

I have all mine in a tupperware container. I don't know why, I just can't throw them away, unless they're 'duplicates'. I plan on making a collage like one I saw in a Cuban restaurant, but i need a LOT more!

I give them all to Caskwith [a UKBOTL] who is in the process of creating some artwork from them!

Re: Saving Cigar rings?

I have saved every single new band I have smoked. If it is a cigar that I have already had, i trash it. Other then that I store it in Xikar box to be used at a later time. My wife has an art degree so she promises me when I am ready she will do something artistic with them.
