my friends and i are big advocates of not driving under the influence, be it 15 shots, or 1 beer. we don't drink unless we are planning on crashing at whose ever place it is.

I play cards and smoke cigars every Friday night !

This is the best way to enjoy a cigar. The only better way is at the strip joint.

Strip joints do nothing for me. I wish this card game was more of a habitual thing. Last summer and winter break, we played cards 2-3 times/week. Only twice this summer.

I am getting old. This sucks. Soon I will be out on my lawn wearing nothing but ripped briefs yelling at kids to get off my lawn and shaking a rake at them.

It is great to have those you can sit and enjoy a smoke and a few drinks with. Even better if you win some money.

I'm a huge fan of poker and cigars too. Its always online poker for me though. When I play, I've learnt to just stick with the cheap/bundled smokes as I get so frustrated and just can't enjoy a premium!

But as long as you got a good smoke in your mouth who cares. You could also subscribe to the Jimmy Buffett aging method as I do... "I am growing older, but not up."

I totally know what you mean. My buddies & I have a thing called the Tuesday-Night-Party. Either poker or pool. We choose Tuesday as it allows the guys to have a night out but not upset the wifes/girlfriends by abandoning them on the weekend. We usually knock back 3-4 smokes, some brews, a couple of pizzas and roll out around midnight. Best part is that every one brings about 6-8 sticks and then the sampling begins. We rarely smoke our own, so nice exchange.

As a matter of fact, TNP is going down tonight. I'll have to pack some extra Cremosas.

I think I am going through a mid-youth crisis. I am turning 20 soon. Holy shite that's old. What happened to my youth? I am working as an intern, and I see people around me that have worked the same dead end engineering job for the last 20 years, and theyre miserable.

I don't want to end up like them.

Well, I am 56 and I will give you this advice, life is what you make of it. If you allow it to get to you then it will. Enjoy life. Enjoy the finer things in life. I am particularly fond of Rum, but rather than drink a lot of cheap rum, I would rather sip one or two drinks of good rum. The enjoyment in the long run is better. The same thing with cigars, enoy one good one over multiple cheap ones.

Take life slowly, go with the flow, you are 20 you have plenty of time... I know it is hard, hell I was 20 once or twice.
