Well, I just got back from vacation. Ten days in Sunny SoCal. We had perfect weather the whole time. The best part of the trip was getting engaged!
(The worst was no CS for ten days. It is good to be back.) Part of this trip was taking a break several things: - Cellphones (It was great.) - Internet (I work as a web developer, so sometimes I need a clean break.) - Cigars (I just wanted to spend time with my family and fiance. Cigars are my way to relax in the routine of everyday life, not on vacation.) Now that I am back and recently engaged I am looking to celebrate with a good cigar. I am looking to smoke a cigar that is somewhat special, or something that had a great reputation that I haven't tried. I am not looking to go out and buy something, just pick out something that I have on hand. After digging through my humidor, here is what I am considering: - AF Anejo Shark - AF "King B" - (Never tried) - Diamond Crown Maximus Toro No. 4 - (Never tried) - H. Upman Magnum 46 - (Never tried) - Padron Serie 1926 No. 2 Maduro - (Never tried) - Padron 1964 Anniversary Torpedo Maduro - (Loved the Natural) - PSD4 - (Never tried, been letting 'em rest) - RyJ (Cuban) Churchill - (Never tried) So what do you think? Help my celebrate this right!!! |

The:
- RyJ (Cuban) Churchill - (Never tried) After all what better way to celebrate love than with a smoke named after lovers.

- AF Anejo Shark - Padron Serie 1926 No. 2 Maduro - (Never tried) - Padron 1964 Anniversary Torpedo Maduro - (Loved the Natural) - PSD4 - (Never tried, been letting 'em rest) - if this has a few years on it, go for it |

Re: Engagement Celebration Cigar
First off: Congrats to you! All jokes aside, marriage really is a great thing. Best wishes & have fun deciding what flower vendor to go through. :P
Secondly: All of those smokes you have mentioned are great. Do what you like. Yet, if you are looking for a recommendation, I say follow DriftyGypsy. Seems like a very appropriate celebration smoke.

Re: Engagement Celebration Cigar
Thanks for all of the suggestions and encouragements. I will do a write up when I smoke what I choose. I think that I will probably go for the Padron Serie 1926 No. 2 Maduro, but I only have two PAMs left so it is hard to smoke one. We will see. Thanks!

Re: Engagement Celebration Cigar
Congrats on the engagement, mhillsing23. A different cigar I would recommend to celebrate the occasion would be an EDICION de SILVIO from Perdomo. Although they can be pricey, they are a sweet smoke with a nice kick. Enjoy the bachelor party!
