Hello Slope, Goodbye space in humidor

So thru this community I have become knowledgable of a lot different places to buy smokes. That said, last night I finally registered with cbid. And also last night IU beat Illinois so I was feeling real good. Big win for fav team plus bidding on cigars=bad combination for bank acccount. I found the quick buy tab just as most auctions were ending and it was all over. I found myself clicking away. Won my first a 5 pack of Padilla Cazadores Toro Gordo for $11. and still have bids in on four more auctions.

Like I said in the beginning, thru this community I have gained more knowedge than I ever dreamed of. Gotta love this hobby.
Pic is Reds owner Bob Castellini enjoying a cigar in the clubhouse after winning the division. Take that statewide smoking ban!

Congratulations and welcome. I love cbid and now get most of my stuff from them. So far I have just been going down the slope at a slow but steady pace. It so very tempting though to go full blast down the slope though. I look at cbid almost everyday but I don't bid except once a week and only place one bid. Of I win great, if I don't that's ok to. What's keeps me in check is my other hobby which I throw a ton of money at. I'm afraid that if I go full blast with this one my other hobby will suffer and I can't let that happen lol.

CBid get me really excited for some reason. The auction atmosphere is a dangerous place for my wallet since I'm so competitive.

Cbid is like the slot machines - you win a little and then you just keep putting money in... very dangerous place to visit but impossible to stay away from

That's one thing that cannot be overstated. KNOW YOUR PRICING before visiting Cbid. One thing I like about cigarauctioneer (Famous' version of Cbid) is that, while their starting prices aren't as good, they will warn you if you can buy it cheaper on the regular site. Very handy.
