Re: 60% beads too low?

depends on preference, most people like 65%.

I use 65% in all 3 humidors but I kinda wish I had 1/2 pound of 60% for my coolidor.

I have a 1/2lb of 65% beads. I was about to replace them with 60% beads. Let me know if you want to swap.

I prefer to smoke cigars at 60%. Use them for my Desktop singles humi and traveldors. Thinking about converting the old cab to 60%.

i prefer 60% ever since my collection was leaning towards more ISOMs then N-Cs. ISOM seem to take in more moisture then NC's... they just dont smoke consistantly at 70 or even 65. Granted, i keep the NC's with the C's and there all happy and nicley spongey at 60%

Perhaps you should order a small amount of 65% beads and then test which of the two (60 or 65) you prefer smokes to be at. give the smokes a few weeks to settle in their different RHs then smoke away and youll form your own opinions as 'good' RH is completely on personal preference.

I did the same thing with 70 vs. 65. I just got my 65's in like 2 weeks ago so the jury is still out on this one. But I think ideally it's what works best for you. I've noticed that at 70 I will peridoically get one that is just hard to keep lit without excessive pulling.
