Everyone loves them, but I have had three various ones and still have about 11 left waiting and I am still not that sold on them. They are great smokes, but for that price I know I would like to spend it on some other choices. They look great and smell amazing, but the price is a little steep.

$45 for a 5-pack isn't all that bad actually, although at that price it is probably for the Principe size or one of the smaller ones. These are great smokes! Are they worth it? Well that is up to you my friend! I say try them out before buying a box.

This is where a trade with a generous BOTL may benefit you-ask around, see if anyone is willing to trade/sell one so you can get a taste of it without the high price.

$45 for a fiver is not a bad price at all.. I would jump on that. What do you have to loose?

45 bucks

bear in mind that its 45 bucks for the fiver right now. I'm sure these will be a fair amount higher once the CBid gets closer to the auction close.

I also say yes both the nat and mad taste different. In the 1964 I like the mad in the 1926 I like the nat.

If you get the chance I would try the 1926 #35 nat one great cigar and worth every cent.

I would say no. The regular Padron line is very good and hard to improve upon, so I have not found enough difference between the Anni and the regular lines to make it worth hunting them down. However, as was said above, only you can really answer that question for yourself.

Re: Are the padron Annis worth it?

I like the anni's quite a bit. But i wouldn't say its a super special stick, it's a great stick but not so great that i'd pay a significant premium. Since i got my box i've discovered many premium smokes at lower prices and i've found the high end and the mid range (in terms of price) for cigars seems to have compacted. The quality of the midrange cigars have gone up significantly over the past two years imho (or maybe i'm just discovering more sticks?).

Re: Are the padron Annis worth it?

Good tasting cigar. Anything is worth it if you want to pay for it and smoke it.

I am just not to keen on boxed press cigars. But the flavor of the Padron is great.

So IMHO I would pass.

Re: Are the padron Annis worth it?

The PAM is my stick of choice. Also, Filet Mignon is my steak of choice. Sure, neither are cheap, but they are both delicious.

Like every smoke, you won't know until you try. Even then, no one stick does it for every one. Now run to the B&M. Smoke one tonight and review in the morning.
