does anyone know if there is a certain season that cigars are rolled. much like wine grapes are harvested in the fall. i ask this because there are some cigars that i am wanting to purchase and they are out of stock (crown diamond maximus). should i wait till they come back in stock or just keep looking for them.

Out of stock? Do you mean your local B&M is out of stock or CI is out of stock?

I did a quick search and managed to find them all over the place.

They are plentiful-ish within 50-miles of my pad. pm if you're getting the shakes.

smokin, perhaps you might want to email this guy. he sells tobacco to grow. He knows f-all about cigars but is somewhat of an expert on growing tobacco and can sell you seeds if you want to try it yourself [this is perfectly legal in the UK, i apologise in advance if it is not in the US]:

As for your example, Diamond Crown Maximus isn't available to retailers at all times, it is on a rotation occuring about every 9-10 weeks.

Re: tobacco growing.

Like most other plants tobacco can be grown year round now days. But in Kentucky it is just about harvest time. But after harvesting the leaves have to hang around awhile in the barn to dry out. Then they go to auction in lots. Usually the process is done by fall in the south.
