Today I Bought...

...two Rocky Patel Sungrown Petite Corona's and a Partagas 3-Pack sampler (1 Spanish Rosado, 1 Black, 1 Naturales).

The sungrown's look so beautiful with their light shade wrapper and thier bright red label. It looks like a little firestick.

I've never had any of these cigars and I am very excited to start lighting these up.

I bought all 5 for 20 bucks. I'd say it was a good deal

Nice!

If you like the Partagas sampler you may want to try the cifuentes line, some of them are very tasty.

Are those pricy? I thought those were a limited run series, or am I way off with that idea??

It's a seasonal release and somewhat hard to find but not terribly pricey. I liked the fall series vitolas I have smoked and think I paid between $5 and $6 each at my B&M.

I think the Partagas 3-pack alone is $15.00 at my B&M. I think you got a good deal. The RP Sungrowns are tasty and the petite c's are a great size.

Re: Today I Bought...

That's a great deal for those cigars. Like SHOE said, a three-pack of Partagas will usually run you around 15 or 20 bucks.

Ah, not bad at all. Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out. How do they compare to the regular naturales series.

Thumbs up Re: Today I Bought...

Yeah, the Partagas Three pack at my bm is 9.95, and the RP Sg Petite Coronas were like 4.25 a peice.

Yeah, the sungrowns seem to get talked about recently as nice spicy sticks. Or am I thinking of something else?

TechMetalMan: Did you pick those up at Serious Cigars? I'm headed down there on Saturday, looking to try out one of those Sun Grown Rocky Patels.

Re: Today I Bought...

Tiptone: Yep, sure did. That's where I buy all of my cigars. I haven't given in to the devil site yet. I really like the idea of becoming a regular there, and the walk-in is so nice. I don't know when the last time you were in there was but they expanded the humidor. It used to be that large L shape, but they expanded it around the back to make it a U shape. So now it isn't as crowded and it's more organized, although they are still moving things around and trying to unclutter it even more.

68TriShield: You are making me really want to try it tonight, but I'm trying to let it rest in the humidor for a few more weeks!

This will actually be my first trip down there, I've been hitting Mr. Smokes in Conroe (small selection/humidor but he's expanding and appear to be good people) and I hit Woodlands Fine Cigars weekend before last.

Have to remember to leave the credit card at home and just take a little cash with me. I'll ask about the WiFi for you when I'm in on Saturday.
