I got some of these from JR and I was very pleased. If you like cameroon wrappers... then these are a must try.

Re: Montecristo Afrique

JR, Holt's, and Mikes have them. For a bos they are all about the same price.

Check out the 5-packs at JR's. A box of Afrique Jambo Jambo (6 x 50) will cost you $120, but a 5 pack is only $18. Buy five 5-packs and you pay $90 instead of $120 for the box. They have UHURU (5 x 47) in 5-packs - $15.00 vs $100 per box of 25.

JR also has an auction site. Currently there is a box of UHURUs for bid that will close in a few days.

Their profile is a bit different. As far as NC Montes (whatever that's worth) this line is by far my favorite.

I was just gonna say......get the JR 5 packs of the Jambo Jambos. I'm not a huge fan of cameroons....they don't wear well with me. But these are different and have a flavor profile that doesn't much remind me of anything else. A fantastic stick IMHO.

Re: Montecristo Afrique

The Afrique is my favorite NC Monte and getting fivers from JR is a good way to go IMHO.

Very different flavor. The Cameroon tobacco is not only the wrapper, but also in the filler, as well as other African tobacco. This line is one of my favorites.

I've been thinking about these for quite awhile..the price scares me ,,I'll have to take the advice here and buy a sampler pack.
