You say it was constructed poorly because of cracks in the wrapper at the foot. Are you sure that's a result of construction and not improper handling (e.g., your wife tossing the ziplock bag into her purse and it banging around the way home)? Just asking as I've rarely encountered construction issues with Ashton cigars and, in my experience, a cracked foot is more typically the result of later human intervention.
