Going to West Palm/Orlando/Ocala FL

Flying to West Palm on Saturday and will be traveling to Orlando which will be where I will spend most of my trip. I will have a few days at each place though. Anyone have any cigar store recommendations?

You are only about 90 miles from Ybor City in Tampa where you can go to Tampa Sweethearts (I believe that Arturo Fuente Jr. owns it) and they roll a couple of local smokes (tampa sweethearts and flor de ybor city) as well as some other ones that I can not recall that are all in the same vicinity. The other place that I can not think of is near the Green Iguana restaurant/bar. There are some very nice historic places like the JC Newman factory and the Ybor City Museum. If you have the time, I would drive down and check it out.

Yes, in Ocala there is a great cigar lounge....The cigar & Wine Lounge..3131 sw college rd. It's right across the street from the Mall.When are you going to be in Ocala?

Coming out of West Palm Airport, Take Southern Blvd. west until you get to 441/State Road 7. on the North West corner, there is a K-Mart Shopping center. Turn into there and between Bealls outlet and the Post Office there is LJ's Cigars. ATLHARP will be there all day. Go visit him and tell him who you are and that you are from CS. You will not be disappointed.

Corona Cigar in Orlando is well worth a visit! I heartily agree with Volfan too, you should really spend 1/2 day at Ybor city in Tampa.

When u are in Orlando u need 2 go 2 Coronas, they have 2 locations here, and you can find directions on Coronacigars.com, they have a great place with a lot of rare cigars. I go 2 school in Orlando and i go to Coronas atleast once a month

They have two nice shops.
One in the heart of Orlando and the other in Lake Mary.
Both are just as nice as the other.

Yup, well worth the little over an hour ride.
Lots of cigar history at Ybor.

Also, while in the area, St. Pete has a real nice B&M that is a favorite of mine when in the area. Central Cigars on Central Ave. They have a very nice selection, full service bar with lots of wines and ports and a great lounge. In addition, you can sit outside and just enjoy the sights walking by.

Central Cigars is very nice and the other place that I could not think of is called Havana Dreams. You can get some pretty good cuban sandwiches and cafe con leche (cuban style coffee) down in Ybor City as well. Have fun and post pics when you get back.

Looks like Corona Cigar Co. gets a lot of respect from the Gorilla's. I second, third or fourth this suggestion.

Their cuban sandwiches aren't bad either.....enjoy one while you are there.

I am flying down into West Palm Saturday morning now to visit some friends, and will be there till Sunday. Then I'm driving up to Orlando, and staying there, but will be looking at real estate in Ocala each day.

I'll definitely try to check out as many of those places as possible! They all sound great!

You might want to try and stop in one of the hotels around Corona Cigar Co. In December when I stayed there, the main desk had business cards of the cigar shop which entitled you to a free beer or something like that.
