Oh, i'm not saying violence should have been used in any way, shape, or form, but I am vouching for the guy yelling at the kid, others said that he was in the wrong for even confronting the guy about it.

If an older man came up to me if I had done something like that (which I wouldn't in the first place), I would say I was sorry and offer him a couple of dollars in return...but he doesn't deserve a beating, i agree there.

i'm ashamed of all of you -- parry \ slash \ riposte...

ok the teen, practicing expectoration, spat accurately on the cigar.

before we get all in an uproar here - how about we find out the most important fact.

which end of the cigar was spat upon?

And I agree with you. The teen probably would have got a piece of my mind too.....though I don't have that much mind to spare.

Spitting on a cigar - $5.00
Having a heart attack - $35,000
Telling the guy to grow up - PRICELES!

Just travel and smoke with an entourage. Then you always have someone to watch your cigars.

And for goodness sake.. smoke better cigars.

Shack herf pic of Bruce's 30th anniv cohiba that he got tired of and just put it down 1/4 of the way through.

And god spat on overnight.

I would have smoked it but it was soaked.

Hell of a 1k post I'm doing here. I was in here last night when this came up. I literally LMFAO when I saw it was still up !!

O.K........I don't give a about the moral/immoral aspects of whether or not about the person deserved a 'n !!!!!

I just wanna know about this:

I looked at Holt's and found this:

"This is another killer closeout brought to you courtesy of the Holt's Tasting Committee. Manufactured in Nicaragua from 100% Nicaraguan tobacco, Don Juan Special Cuban Blend is medium to full bodied and very rich. What makes this cigar unique is the oily reddish-brown wrapper grown in the Jalapa Valley from special Cuban seeds. This wrapper delivers a bold spicy flavor and enticing aroma accented by notes of leather and cinnamon. This wrapper delivers a bold spicy flavor and enticing aroma accented by notes of leather and cinnamon. With savings up to 65% off MSRP, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere! "

Granted I consider myself still a "noob", but if I ever tasted hints of Palmolive or Dove............I'd consider it a blessing to be spit/spat upon !!!

Woah, that sucks what happend.
Just my opinion (not that it matters much) but when I was reading this fellow's story, I felt the anger he felt. I'd be pissed too. But not at one time did I "believe" he was about to give that kid a beat down. He probably felt it like it like no other, as would I. But I didn't get the impression he was seriously considering it. I don't know, maybe he did. I feel for him either way.

With that said, I'd hate to push him away after blowing some steam in the forum. That's what we're all here for, right? I bet his ol' lady wouldn't "get it" like we would. Hell, I know my ol' lady wouldn't.

Tell ya what PoorSmokerBoy, PM me and I'll replace the stick, along with a few others that might get you some praise, even in a "No Snob" forum...

When I was little and I did something bad, like beating soneone up, my mom would always wash my mouth out with a Don Juan Special Cuban Blend cigar.

Hopefully you don't have a CCW...
Part of the "art" of smoking cigars is choosing wisely. One task is to choose the proper time. And to choose a stick that will match that time. I've killed a few cigars (one was a Hemmingway Signature, another was a Patron 2000) early because I f***ed up my timing and was not in a position to save the rest of the stick. Nobody's fault but mine.
Your choice to break out a stick, put it in a dirty public ashtray, duck in to a store for ice cream, and completely DEMAND that it to be virginally intact is faulty reasoning. Plus your "desire to kill this guy" over a single cigar leaves one with an uneasy feeling...

Or the next person he might run out of a store and get in their face and start yelling at. Hince my initial response in this thread.

It's a cigar, nothing to get that stressed out over.

There are many many different Don Juan cigars out there; different factories, different countries, etc. etc.

With a soapy taste I am going to venture it was one of the Domincan made Don Juan Platinum cigars, and not the Nicaraguan Don Juan SCB. I have picked up 2 boxes from Holts since the got them in, and went through 2 boxes from Fuller's Pullers earlier in the year. It is a very good cigar for the money, would be for twice the price in fact.
