My First Cusano 18

Just smoked my first Cusano 18 - maduro wrapper. It's a very smoothe smoke but a little on the bitey side - too bitey for me. I'm told the natural wrapper (of which I also bought one) is supposed to be milder. Will give that one a shot.

I've been meaning to try one of those ever since it was the Cigar of the Week on the Dog Watch Social Club show.

The natural is a little more mild. Almost to mild for me. Not bad smokes really but seem kind of bland to me now. Looks like my tastes have changed a bit. Used to really like'em.

Re: My First Cusano 18

I have gone through several boxes of them. My daughter likes them and most new smokers will as they are smooth and mild. The rest will find them hit or miss in the flavor. I have had some that are just loaded with flavor right from the start and others that are just ho-hum yard gars.

Re: My First Cusano 18

I find the naturals to be a very smooth, creamy daytime smoke, but occasionally I'll get one that just has that very mild tobacco taste. When they are good, they are GOOD.

Re: My First Cusano 18

I tried one of these a few weeks ago and I really was not all that impressed. To be fair I've only had one and plan on smoking another 2 before I make a decision if this stick is for me or not.

Totally agree with you here. I too find these a very smooth and creamy cigar. I like them for a nice mild daytime smoke.
