Tampa Sweethearts -- A Bundle Target??

First off... I smoke both the bundled stuff and the premium boxed stuff. I like to keep about 500 sticks on hand in three coolers and a humi. I'm ALWAYS on the prowl for bundled stuff that's worthy of aging and (when the time comes) smoking daily.

I'm a maduro-lover. I've never tried a Tampa Sweetheart, though I've read some positive reviews on this stick in the past. Can anyone give me some impressions on this stick?? Moreover, can anyone tell me WHERE they're available?? My regular sources (CI, JR, Famous) don't handle them.

Any impressions / info will be much appreciated!

Haven't tried the Sweethearts, but I have bought other A.F.s from the Tampa Sweetheart site. Good place to do business with.

Re: Tampa Sweethearts -- A Bundle Target??

My friend in Florida sent me a couple 85's which are comparible to the AF 8-5-8 and it did everything it was supposed to. 20/$31 on their site plus shipping. It's his favorite go to stick. He goes to Ybor and picks them up at the factory a little cheaper.

Re: Tampa Sweethearts -- A Bundle Target??

Also on the website is another bundled cigar called Flor de Ybor city. Very strong recs from TxMatt are making me want to pull the trigger on the Sungrown Belicosos (link below)

Re: Tampa Sweethearts -- A Bundle Target??

Personally I was looking at the Tampa Sweetheart #280 which when I called the girl told me they were comparable to the Double Chateau Fuente. 20/$31 seems like a smokin deal

Seriously though, I love trying new ones out and am glad I found CS

Couple of questions (I'll prob look like an a** but it wouldnt be the first time) Are the Tampas flavored? Im assuming not, but you never know by the name. Do they come without bands?

Re: Tampa Sweethearts -- A Bundle Target??

Check the website out (https://tampasweetheart.com:4443/?pa...393c06c2f327&). I have never seen or smoked one, but it looks like the Tampa Sweethearts come without bands. Flor de Ybor City does come with bands. They are not flavored.
