2 problem smokes in 1 sitting

As usual on a Saturday noon I was at the coffee shop, out on the deck sipping iced coffee & smoking stogies.

First - Macanudo petit corona, light wrapper. I bought about 8 of these a year or so ago, not knowing any better. Figured O.K it's aged a year, maybe it's good now. Boring. The typical Macanudo. Smoked 1/2 way and chucked it. It was not really bad, just bland.

Second - Partagas petit corona - Habana (someone gave it to me, forget who...) 14 months in the humi. This really turned my stomach. Stinky barnyard flavors - cow dung with a hint of pig urine. I hac smoked one from the same batch 2 months ago, it needed more age, but was O.K.
Maybe these are going through a "sick phase"?

I don't know what to make of this. But I will be happy to get back to my Fuente's, Padron's and Brazilia"s...
