I can't stand the wait...

A week ago, I won an auction on Ebay for a (supposedly) 175-225ct humidor. From the dimensions and looking at the picture, I think it will be close. Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Anyway, so I paid via ****** on Thursday last week, and it takes 3 business days for the payment to clear. So that's Friday, M--- (oops, Mon is a holiday), Tues, and then today. So today I finally get the "payment complete" mail along with "shipped it!"

Except they don't send out tracking numbers unless it's been more than 9 business days from when they sent it out. So again here I am in the dark on what's happening. And with no tracking number, how am I supposed to plan to be there to sign for it? This is frustrating.

Plus an order for a new cutter, some humi-pucks, hygrometer, and ashtray is in limbo.

I can't stand the waiting. And this is before I even start to order cigars, since I want to make sure the humi is seasoned properly before I start getting cigars.

I'm going crazy!

Been there done that brother.. seems odd they wouldnt send you a tracking number. Its not that hard to include it in the email. Stay strong brother.

That's a cool looking humidor! Congrats and it'll be there in no time. So before that, just run down to the B&M and buy one stogie a day (or how ever many you smoke daily). Not only will you build up some camaraderie with the staff, you'll have some smokes to get you bye.

Looks like a nice humi! Don't wear yourself out pacing the floor 'til it gets there. Save some energy for all that cigar buying when it does show up.

UPDATE:

I now have a tracking number for the humidor (why the original mail said "we won't send you this number, don't even bother asking", I'll never know), but now the humidor is expected to be delivered on Monday.

The order for the humi-pucks, hygrometer, etc... is also squared away, so now it's just a matter of waiting (and I have a tracking number for that order too).

Monday is not going to come soon enough...

I have a couple flavored (and mild!) cigars that I need to get rid of. Since I only smoke on the weekends (and also have a pipe to keep me company), I don't smoke much. So I'll knock the flavored ones out soon and hopefully I'll start buying right about when the humidor is getting seasoned.

BTW, do what I do, sit out in the street rocking back and forth, drooling, while waiting for the brown truck. It really freaks out the neighbors.
