Re: mikes cigars

I think I will stick to the following 3 online dealers. All 3 have been 100% reliable and fast service for me.

www.cigarsinternational.com
www.cigarbid.com <--- devil site
www.jrcigar.com

I have heard bad storys about Mike's cigars. They sent me a catalog in the mail and I have been tempted to order from them but why take the chance when I already get great service and prices from the about 3 vendors.

Always good to let everyone know about good and bad experiences, then they can make up their own minds where to purchase.

Re: mikes cigars

I just placed my first order with them an hour ago, so I guess I'll find out soon.

I wanted to try the Genuine Pre-Embargo Counterfeit Cubans that they sell @ $69 for 50 and took a chance on a couple "Mikes Bakers Dozen" @ $12.00 for 13 gars.

The cigars might not be Cuban imports, but, I believe the person that took my order might be the real thing.

I've never had a problem, either. In fact, I should have an order waiting for me this evening.

David, I think it is up to the retailer to treat US well. They are taking our money not the other way around...

Re: mikes cigars

Rocky, I know I was one of the people that said I had a bad experience with them recently. I hate to say bad things about anyone, even if its deserved. In my case it might have just been one guy having a bad day, but IMO it still didnt give him the right to treat my wife so poorly over the phone. We had placed a pretty good sized order and 68TriShield said it well....they took our money, it shoulda been up to them to treat us right. Just left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak, I'll get off my now

Re: mikes cigars

I hear a lot about JR's... thinking of trying them. Lately I have been ordering from Famous Smoke. Good Prices and good service. I am curious if they freeze their inventory like JR does. I wrote an e-mail asking that question, but have not gotten a reply yet.. anyone know the answer to that?

Re: mikes cigars

Have not ordered from Mikes yet. I have had very good luck with CI, JR and Famous. CI and Jr have some really good weekly / daily e-mail specials.
