Any experience with this

It's been three weeks and a few days and I still haven't received my package? If the item is lost, is it ok to ask for replacement? Their site indicates that they will replace, refund, etc. if you are not satisfied with their product. I'm not sure what to do if the product does not arrive at all.

I would definately be in contact with them. If they say they will replace then they should.

Yeah, you should call about that one. Nearly 4 weeks is a long time for shipping.

What'd you order?

Three weeks since you placed your order or three weeks since it was shipped?

Re: Any experience with this

More than three weeks since it was shipped. They said the item might have been returned to them (they were not sure if it was mine) in which case they shipped it again. They did not mention anything about replacing a package if it is has indeed gotten lost. The package contains a box of Padron 3000 Maduro and a bunch of singles.

I would get on the horn and see if they can make right with the situation but talk to them in a calm matter because shooting off the handle wont rectify the situation.

Re: Any experience with this

Keep us posted. I'm interested in the outcome.

4 weeks for Padrons + some assorted NCs??

There ain't no justice in that. 4 weeks for cubans is way too long imho let alone for NCs.

Re: Any experience with this

Just e-mailed them this afternoon and I quickly got a response. They said they would mail me a new one on monday. I hope they could file a claim for the lost package. I also hope the new package will arrive with no problems this time. When this is all sorted out I am going to write a "retailer report" and properly thank them. Thanks guys for listening to me, I feel better now.

Re: Any experience with this

Glad all is resolved for you-there is a good moral to this story i believe which is if in doubt, ask. when you have no information its natural to become paranoid about the shipment. emailing the vendor should be no problem [after all youre a paying customer] and it will help both sides know where they stand.

Re: Any experience with this

Yeah, four weeks in transit for cigars isn't the best thing... they could get wayyy to hot and dry depending where they are. Good move calling them and having them send u a new shipment. Sometimes it is worth a few xtra bucks to get 2-day delivery so they dont sit in the UPS truck for 10 business days. If I were you, I would be jonzin' by now waiting for the new smokes!

Re: Any experience with this

It finally came this afternoon when I was about to ask for another replacement. That was a very long wait. I somehow felt guilty, but all I did "wrong" was order cigars from another country. I am glad it’s all sorted out and the bottom line is ~ they reshipped it to me as they promised. There is no need for me to write a retailers report to clutter the forum.

Thank you www.showmeyourash.com for keeping your word. I suppose we are sometimes victims of government restrictions on tobacco, which are totally based on pretext. I am not happy to feel like a petty smuggler. I am thankful that there are people miles away that keep their promises.
