I've seen cigarette/head shops that carry all the crack pipes, and such....

They also have a humidor with cigars, wich are usually overpriced, improperly stored, and a poor selection. In my opinion these are not cigar shops.....

I would prefer that cigars not even be associated with these type shops, IMHO they do nothing to promote the hobby were so passion about.

I had 2 locals in AZ. One had all the bongs, t-shirts, hookahs, pschedelic stuff, but had a reallly good selection of cigars and cigar accessories. The other had cigarettes and pipe tobacco as well as knives, swords, etc. Mediocre selection.

Here in CO, one of my locals sells ice cream bars. Cigars seem to be an afterthought. The other I recently found has a great selection, strictly cigars and a nice litle smoking room.

Mine only carries cigar and pipe related material as well as a large cooler of micro-brewed beers.

i always question how its legal to sell that stuff when even though it "could" be used for tobacco,, you know what it's really for. just makes me wonder i guess.

Some around here have cigar and pipe related stuff . One I know of has hookahs and I guess bongs and that sort of paraphernalia along witha good selection of cigars , but they are pricey . At Black Cat cigars in Philly they have alot of shaving supplies , straight razors , mixing cups , different creams and soaps but basicly just cigar stuff , one other thing is that the whole entire store is a humidor , can break a sweat in there in no time at all during the summer months , I'll have to go during the winter this season coming up .

My local B&M is called Willow Park Chocolate & Cigars

I think they might have a total of like 10 boxes of Belgian Chocolate though and then they sell Cigars (Obviously) Cigarettes, pipes and pipe tobacoo and then lighters, humi's, and cutters and stuff.

My local headshop / record store actually provides a small bag of complimentary pipe tobacco with the purchase of pipes, sliders, bongs, etc.

Sounds like you're shopping in a head shop that sell cigars rather than in a real cigar store. I shop in several local B&Ms and none of them sells any bongs, black light posters, or any of that kind of merchandise.

Luckily I live in a town where the cigar shops only carry related merchandise – cigars, pipes (tobacco), top-shelf liquor, and accessories. We also have some head shops but they are completely separate and carry stuff like skateboard equipment, punk-type cloths, body jewelry and do the piercing and tattoos, not that there is anything wrong with that. I used to go to those in my younger days, but now I stick to the cigar stores. Interesting question I like to hear about the laws and customs at B&M’s in other states.

What I find at my local B&M are Indians. They own it, run it and for the most part do a lousy job of looking out after the welfare of their inventory.
