So I'm trying new cigars on a regular basis and after enjoying a BHK (way overpriced for me), I started reading some reviews
of cigars that may be considered contenders using similar build and medio tiempo leaf. I picked up LAT54 and La Palima's Goldie no5.
Todays smoke was the Goldie, and while it was a smooth smoke, lotsa hay, cream, vanilla accents, it was good but not great.
I rated it 3/5 overall (a 4/5 smoke but down one for the price). AF Hemingway was another let down for me.
I have the Opus X lost city and the Lat54 still waiting. Illusione Epernay my favorite of recent sticks.
