Thank Moki for his site that this was on.
No problem -- but if you link to Vitolas.net, don't copy the URL from your browser's address area. That can change depending on how the images are sorted, etc.

Instead, scroll down to the bottom of the page where the permanent URL: is listed, in this case:

http://www.vitolas.net/displayimage.php?pos=-786

That'll never change.

Search for your nearest authorized Opus X dealer here

http://www.cigarfamily.com/retailers.cfm?Code=FFOX

An authorized Opus X dealer is the only place you're likely to find them at anywhere near MSRP.

Re: Fuente Anejo's

I really enjoy the Anejos and was lucky enough to get a box of 77s and 46s last year. Start looking the week before Thanksgiving. remember not all shops will get these.

My personal fave is the 55 then the 50 - I buy what I can get.

The Shark is also released right before Father's day.

Thank you very much.
I think I'll start putting out the feelers now and see if I can reserve a box.

Corona Gigante, Thanks for the thread

Have a great week

Does Holts B&M usually carry the Anejos at (or around) MSRP?

I know they sell the shark (#77) in one of their samplers. I have also heard you can get them there on occassion, however, they usually have a limit (something like one per person).

Some who lives close to holts might want to confirm this, I have only heard this from some people.

Right... the Carlos Jr. World Class sampler. You can get that through mail order, however.

Regarding the Anejos and the OpusX, they state that they have such high demand that they can only offer them in their B&M store. I'm not sure what they'd try and charge for them, though.

They have a limit on the amount of VSGs you can buy in a certain time frame, so I'd expect similar limits on the Anejo and OpusX

Supposedly, they charge around MSRP for all the opusX and anejos. Considering they sell that sampler for around 45 bucks, they must not be charging that much for the individual sticks.

When I placed an order for something else, I asked about the anejos and they said they only sell them in store. I think the limit is something like one per day or one per week, much worse than the VSG limit.

Re: Fuente Anejo's

Yes, when Holts has Anejos in, they are at exactly MSRP. Pennsylvania does not have a tobacco tax on cigars. Although, like everywhere else, Anejos are extremely rare. I make a stop at the Center City location almost every week, sometimes even twice a week. But even at that rate, I've only seen them twice, and both times was from the same shipment.

The Anejo limit changes day to day and you never know when they are going to have something rare in. The size I saw was the Shark.
