I wandered into my "new" home B&M ( recently moved to Honolulu, keep meaning to do a writeup about cigars here ) and low and behold Joe had something special to show me:

Ditto on the $$$ question, also how available would those be? That is one sweet little set you have there. Sounds like you will have at least one great B&M to frequent. It’s hard to tell their size by the pic – what are the length and ring gauge of those bad boys? I’m jealous of that set – please post a review if you smoke those gems.

Noticed a set on yahoo auctions.. doesnt look like its including the wooden box, and they want $54.00 for the cigars only.

I have never seen them come in a wooden box.

Lets see, it was $50.00 for the pair. It is my understanding that the price is fixed at the places holding the event. The proceeds from the entire sale are supposed to goto charity.

The box... umm... all of them are in the little coffins as far as I know. Mine was pulled fresh out of shipping carton ( carboard box ) , and the one he showed me first was also in the coffin. You can see the first picture, it had a celo wrapper and TWO seals. A clear plastic one for the smoker warning and then a nice Dominican republic seal.

While I don't have an exact measurement, I'm pretty sure they are 6x52 ( maybe 54 ) . They are about the exact width and length of a Avo 80th.

It goes to the Cigar Family foundation - it the Fuente fondation to help improve conditions in the Dominican Republic. They have used the money to build schools, etc.

Those are the cigars from 2003.

So the cigars are three years old. I am going to get one to try.
