How many frequent their local cigar shop?

Just curious here. How many of you hit your local cigar shop on a regular basis, even if it's just to chat and maybe pick up one or two singles to try. I like having someone in the room to tell me about a cigar he's smoked and enjoyed in the past as well as what his other customers who have similar tastes like. Buying online is great for box/bundle purchases, but I think I still want the personal touch for trying something new.

I visit both of mine weekly. Sometimes for sticks and sometimes for boxs.

I manage a paint store right next door to my B&M. My cordless phone works over there. You can figure out the rest.

At least once per month. Since I have cash today, my collection of Padons and AFs will go up today as a matter of fact.

Sweet! I don't know if I would have the strength to do that.

Of the 3 main B&Ms in the KC area, I hit one of them about once a week or so. Ya just can't get that kid-in-a-candy-store feeling in an online shop.

I probablly stop in once a week at one of the 3 places in the area. The thing is the place with the best selection and prices, the owner is not a cigar smoker... so its kinda hard to get an opinion on something new.

Re: How many frequent their local cigar shop?

I stop into one at least every few weeks to pick up some singles or attend a vendor event. The local B&M's are the backbone of our hobby and I support them as much as possible.

At least once a week to chit-chat.... but somehow I always leave with a bag and less $$ than when I went in.

Re: How many frequent their local cigar shop?

There are several B&M's in the DC/MD/NOVA area. Some are better than others. I have run into several snobby rude B&M store workers/managers etc.

There is a new B&M called http://www.titancigar.com/ opening around the corner from my house. It is next door to Caribou Coffee and a nice pub/restaurant that is also having a grand opening. Hopefully, the pub will be cigar friendly and the new B&M will have friendly workers, because I intend to visit frequently.

I frequent mine as often as possible... from once a week to 6 times a week.

Re: How many frequent their local cigar shop?

I used to hit the one near work a lot but time and money have been short as of late so not as much as I'd like to or used to. It's down to about maybe once every two - three weeks.

Re: How many frequent their local cigar shop?

I go once a week or at least every couple of weeks. I like going in and chatting with the guys and just talking tobac. We've got a couple of pretty cool little boutique stores here in town.
