Pricing on Gurkha regents?????

Quick question for the more experienced guys here. I Recently went in to my local B&M and saw Gurkha Regent Toros for $11 a piece. Well I decided to check the site whose name we do not mention and lo and behold I won a 10 pack for $22. Question I guess is, did I get a decent deal? i havnt smoked any yet im letting them rest. Do Gurkhas usually retail so high? I mean before the 5 dollar shipping I got em for $2.20 a piece.... What does everyone else think of Gurkha? Good smoke for the $$$?

Re: Pricing on Gurkha regents?????

Yes it is a good deal but it's not unheard of. The MSRP on them is $10-13 so the B&M is probably just about right. I've got a good friend who likes them and has been snagging 5 and 10 packs from the same site for about what you paid per stick, give or take.

You got a great deal. $ 3-$4 is a good deal.

Nice cigars. I have a whole bunch that have been sitting for a couple years that may need to .. be part of the great dom humi clearing sale.

I had some torps and ended up giving most of them away -- not because I didn't like them; quite the contrary, I liked them a lot and wanted to share the wealth. ~d.

I agree, you got a great deal! I won these several times from the same site and 5 for $11 was my best price.

Regents are one of my favorites in the Gurkha line.

Just a suggestion: On that site, get weekly shipping and get in on more than one win during the week. Shipping become more tolerable... If you're gonna mess with "the devil"...do it more economically.

Re: Pricing on Gurkha regents?????

I think Regents for $2.20 is good; I recently paid $2.20 for Regent Toros and $2.80 for Regent Torps. I've picked up quite a few Gurkha on Cbid at an average cost of around $3.00 per stick with Legends pushing $4.00 and Centurions around $6.00. I like most of them but not enough to pay anywhere close to MSRP. Cbid and/or CI specials seem to be the way to go.

CI had a e-mail special for $29.99 for 10. They are an excllent smoke and a super deal for that price.

Yes, you got a very good deal. The MSRP on most Gurkhas is high in general. C-Bid/CI is probably the `best place to get anything related to Gurkhas. Wtg!
