Tri-Press

I was flipping through the new CI catalogue last night and spotted the Trilogy Tri-Press cigars. Anyone ever smoke something with a tri-press? Looks like it would be awkward in the mouth. Just curious to what some of your experiences may have been with this type of press.

Re: Tri-Press

I saw that too. "Novelty item," I thought. I prefer non-box pressed cigars anyway. A triangular profile sound even worse than a square one. I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks.

I have one in the humi but haven't smoked it yet (obviously). I have my reservations but will post when I try it.

Maybe tonight...

Surprisingly, they don't feel awkward at all. I believe they discontinued the tri-press and are now round.

Re: Tri-Press

I had the Native Cameroon last week and I was quite pleasantly surprised. However, I am not a fan of the tri-press (or a severe box press for that matter). Cigars should be round!!

Re: Tri-Press

I like the Trilogy press - and the exotic (ha) maduro is very decent smoke.

I like the tri press. Never had a bad draw! The trilogy Cammie and Corojo are both very good smokes.
