Casa Fuente here I come... again

Ok, Im back... I went to casa fuente on Friday evening, and walked around there for a bit. Thier stock was down according to the lady that came with me into thier walk in... And you could tell. I looked for some Sungrown 8-5-8s, and they didn't have more than about 4 of em... And they were almost out of anejos. I grabbed two casa fuente house cigars in the corona size to bring home, and then followed the advice of everyone here, grabbed an anejo 49 and sat down with a mojito.. It was a great time, as I sat in one fo the front tables, and people watched/waitress watched, while the wife was shopping at the forum shops around. If its good deals you want, don't go to the Casa.... The Casa house cigars, in the corona, were $18 each. The Anejo was $25.00... I also went into davidoff to maybe pick up some goodies, but didn't find anything that struck me, so I left. Last time I was there, they had some Sopranos, but they did not have any there. They had Padron Anni 64's for $25.00 each and Ashton ESG's for $40.00 each.. Didn't go with either of those... Almost went with a Padron 3000 for $7.00 but the guy was busy with someone else, and I didn't really have time to wait, so I left. All in all, it was a good weekend, and I have a couple good souviners to show for it. I wish I'd had the $$ for more stuff, but it just wasn't there. Trying to decide if I want to have one of the casa Fuente's tonight to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.... Not sure how well that would go over with the wife...

She had a good time... spent most of her "gambling" money on clothes, so it worked out.. I wish I had more money for smokes, because between casa fuente and the Davidoff store I was in heaven.

Scott - Glad you had a good time. From my own experience and what you relate it looks as though Casa Fuente is not really the ultimate and dependable source that I had believed.
What blows my mind is the story I was told by the Bunny- on- duty regarding the 858 SG's. According to her, (6 weeks ago) they never have had 858 SG's in the shop, nobody has them, they are impossible to come by, and only accessible to a few dealers who must go in person to the Fuente estate and then draw straws for them. What a load of cow-splat.
It seems to be the luck of the draw what they have when you walk in.
Having said all this, I can't wait to go back... Larry.

Sounds like fun Scott. When I went to LV last spring I went to the Davidoff store twice I didn't know about Casa Fuentes then. I hope to go again someday. Glad you and the Mrs. had fun.
