Cigar Pet Peeves

My cigar pet peeve is that I can not smoke cigars at work.
Maybe that is a work peeve.

I have a new pet peeve. It drives me nuts when people try to act like they know cigars but really don't have a clue. I will be more annoyed with you that you are acting like you know rather than you being honest about not knowing. It is so funny sometimes cause I'll say something like, "It's a corona." And they'll nod their head and respond with, "I've heard of those. Those are good ones." Too funny.

This is definitely a personal one, but I HATE it when men (cigar smokers) either look at you like you have lobsters crawling out of your ears when you light up, or make Monica Lewinsky references.

The other part of that is when men are patronizing. "What would a woman know about cigars" is one statement that really gets my panties in a bunch! Give me a break!

Or when you walk into a cigar store and they ask you what your husband/boyfriend likes to smoke... assuming that I'm buying a cigar for a male!

My cigar pet peeve is when i am at a party or a club smoking my cigar, then someone comes and stands/sits next to me, and begin to make coments about the bad smell of it, and that i should put it off.

What really burns me is when I'm out with a cigar and a half dozen cigarette smokers sit near me and complain about the cigar smoke. Meanwhile they're making a cloud to put Mt. St. Helens to shame, and cigarettes stink.

Dgenerate sos true. That really gets my goat. The nerve.... Cigarettes do stinkand they make a cloud that just reminds you of opening up a volkswagon bus from the 70's that has a big peace sign painted on it and watch the smoke come rolling out. Granted the Volkswagon smelled a lot better, but you get the visual.
