I really like the petite coronas followed by coronas and torpedos when I want something larger. RG is more important to me than length and, over time, I have migrated to smaller rgs and have pretty much settled in the low to mid 40s.

Re: Favorite Vitola

My favorite vitola is the robusto but I really enjoy the larger size smokes (churchills and double coronas) when I have the time.

Re: Favorite Vitola

Favorite?

If I had to pick one, it would be the Lonsdale, also known as the Cervantes. Oops, looks like I won't be voting.

Actually I prefer a ring gauge in the 42-46 range, so a Corona or Petit Corona is perfectly acceptable as well. Of course I'll smoke any vitola. Ain't all that fussy.

But since that wasn't a choice went with the torpedo, love the changes during the smoke that a torp seems to put out.

I remembered the toro and a couple others after it was too late. I'll put more thought into the polls next time. Somebody me.

Re: Favorite Vitola

I tend to smoke Robusto or smaller sized sticks. I rarely have time for anything largerr. I have also found that in many of my freferred sticks that the smaller sizes in the line seem to be stronger. A great example of this is the VSG Tres Mystique, or the Montecristo Afrique Lemosho.

Re: Favorite Vitola

Its a robusto for me.. often, its a time thing. Im trying to teach myself to smoke slower, and I find that I really enjoy it slower.. I smoked an Edge Toro today, and it took me 2 hours to finish.. Had a couple interuptions, but it was a great experience. Most of the stuff in my humi are robustos.

PC's, Marevas and Minutos. Keep enjoying Robusto's but smoke much more of the smaller vitolas.

I'm a toro too. Hey, don't be too hard on yourself...it was a great idea for a thread!

Like those as well. Wish there was a decent smaller one, since time and $ constraints don't allow me to smoke Salomones and Diademas all too often.

Re: Favorite Vitola

I'm exactly the same as you, 12stones.
Started off with mostly robustos, now leaning towards Torps and Churchills.
If I only get to smoke once in a while, it's gonna be a big, good stick.

Corona, Petite Corona, Lonsdales, Corona Gorda (cuban sizes, not the 55+ ring gauge things some people pass off as gordas).

Re: Favorite Vitola

I've been moving towards robustos. Churchills take forever, PCs and most Cs are too short. Double Coronas are ok as long the arent too strong. My nicotine tolerance is still relatively low so the bigger sticks make me sick.

Re: Favorite Vitola

Have to go with robustos, torpedos are a close second...
