Gave a Friend a Push

I gave my fishing buddy a 20 count humidor that came with 8 sticks from CI. I also threw in a few ISOM's and a cheap cutter and Firebird for his enjoyment. He always would smoke whenever we got together but just never took it any further. I have been meaning to drop him a bomb and when I saw the last deal on CI I pulled the trigger. It's been great to hear him on his slope journey. He really enjoyed the Party Short and liked it better than the Boli PC. He called me today and I guess he went to a B&M and picked up some cigars on his own. Great to hear that he is enjoying himself. Still trying to get him to join the board. Baby Steps, Baby Steps.

My roomie smoked cigars before I did, but he's just done Swishers. I've gotten a bunch of cigars and hope to share some of the better cigars with him. Only problem is, he's a cheap-ass (I mean REALLY cheap), and there's no way he would buy many of the better cigars. So to give him a humidor with some sticks would be nice in that he would enjoy the sticks, but a waste because that humidor would never have any cigars added to it.

I've got another friend who enjoys the occasional cigar. He's willing to spend a little money on a cigar from time to time. Maybe I'll give him a sampler box. I've got two coming from cigarbid.

Last Saturday, my friend who got me started and I had half of the dinner party outside smoking Habanos and drinking scotch. Seven of us were herfin'. We converted two of them on the spot. They are asking when the next time we are getting together is. sharing is one of the best things about this sport.

I've got a buddy that I've been giving some sticks to once or twice a year . Always is very appreciative . Maybe someday he'll get the hint . As far back as I can remember he has always smoked a pipe since about the time when we were 19 years old . Always great to hear about the generosity from this board .
