a proud moment that called for a cigar

Besides the time you had a child, got married/engaged, or graduated from college, what else has been a proud moment in your life that called for a special cigar?

For me, it was when I pinned on my butter bars as an army officer on Commission Day. i bought and smoked a Davidoff Ann. 1. still remember that day.

When I got the great job that I am in now. (Been there just over 4 months) It was a pretty good raise plus it is a great company.

I smoked a RASS.......I know it is not anything too special but they are $25/each here....so not exactly cheap....Plus I love them

Re: a proud moment that called for a cigar

Work in IT.....I know a new job isn't the greatest thing but it is the last time I smoked a cigar to celebrate something that I was proud of

That was also when I was just really getting into Cigars so that was a special stick at the time......now the ones that I really want to have I will just have to save for other special occasions as they are more in the $50+ range

I haven't had a super cigar worthy day yet...but if I finish my first semester of college (here in december) with a 4.0 I will be smoking a nice cigar for sure, possibly an AVO 80th Anniversary that Rockyr sent me.

Re: a proud moment that called for a cigar

My most recent proud moment to have a great cigar was in August when I officially became Godfather to my nephew.

Smoked a Padron '26 that night, at a table, outside of Coronas in Orlando.
Great night!

The end of every school year when I have done all the grading. A cigar and several drinks are in store for those days.

Re: a proud moment that called for a cigar

Love to have a good cigar after my daughters softball game, especially if they win.

I also like one after my other daughters gymnastics competitions especially if she wins.

The weekend is a great time. I like to look back and think about the week and just chill.

All holidays after that big meal.

All of the above are Monte#2 or something with age outta the humidor.
