Okay Guys- I Broke Down!- Vicksburg!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. With all these bombs I've been hit with I have been struggling to find room in my 50 count humidor to store my cigars! I've been hiding some in my friend's humidor and keeping some in ziplocs with water pillows etc...
So finally I ordered a Vicksburg! A great BOTL, Stogmeister, told me that they may not be reordering and selling these, so I had to jump on the humidor. Convinced my dad that this won't be available once my check comes in (had some weird problems with getting myself on the payroll at work) so he allowed me to go ahead and order the Mahogany Vicks! So I ordered that and ordered half a pound of beads, two two-ounce humi tubes, and a boveda calibration kit. Can't wait to try and season this behemoth- just gonna lay a large bowl of distilled water on the bottom of it. Gonna fill my two two-ounce tubes and then fill some panty hose with beads and stick it in the stock humidifier. Thanks stogie_kanobie_one for the great info! Trent

Ahh... what a great humi! I'm glad you're stepping up and moving on to a nice, large humi. It's so very, very classy of you (not to mention smart!). I have yet to justify a huge humi, as I only have about 30 sticks in my 50 ct., plus, I don't have a job (even though I'm TECHNICALLY working!).

I've only heard rumours that it is being discontinued- but I'm not taking any chances!
I started smoking (gas station Phillies) back in November of last year (2005). Started getting semi-serious about REAL cigars I'd say in February or March earlier this year. Picked up my first humi (the one I currently have) in May. So it has taken me all of 5 months to go from a 50 count to a 500 count! Thanks on the compliments guys- I will have photos and a documentation of my setting it up/seasoning and filling as well! Great hobby!
