The herf was great,when Mike and Ron showed up it was like family.CS is that way.Mike made himself right at home had some drinks,cigars,sandwichs and down home gorilla time.He met and talked with a bunch of us on skype which was awsome. Thanks to all of you guys that stopped in and hung out for a while,it made Mike feel real good to know you all care.Heres some pics for y'all...

Well I think that Edwin had a good day! I picked him up about 12:30 or so Saturday and we took a drive out to Dave's (68trishield). Good drive with the fall colors changing on the tree's. Dave was ready for us in his smoking room with heater, drinks and eats. Fired up the smokes on arrival and Dave got the laptop going with the skype. Pictures already posted above - we hung out there until about 4:30 - then headed on back to Virginia.
Wife already had dinner going so we relaxed in my office for a few waiting on a few other guests. We had invited a few family friends - one being an old retired Sargent Major - Bob - so they both hit it off of course. Up to the carport we went where I fired up the grill - everybody had selected their steaks - everything from rib eyes to filet's. I grilled up a couple filet mignon's for Edwin to go along with the salads, scallops potatoes, green beens and shrimp - he ate very well!
The rest of the night for just full of smoking, drinking, smoking. drinking, laughter, story telling and playing some stupid word game. Oh yeah - sometime around midnight the girls decided to make up some tollhouse cookies - served hot out of the oven.
Sometime around 2am - picked out a selection of smokes to send him off with and I drove him back to his hotel.

Pictures? Yeah - Edwin has them on his camera - so when he recovers maybe he can get them posted -

I had so much fun!!!! That was a night to remember. I smoked some fantastic sticks, drank some scotch and some amazing rum (from ISOM), and had a wonderful homecooked meal. I could not have written a better script for a perfect night. Thank you Ron, Dave and family and friends. I will get the pictures posted as soon as I can get them off of the camera (forgot the cord in afghanistan). I slept in until 1100, then went to the skins / cowboys game. This has been a great place to spend a few days away.
