Gunpowder, Treason and Penzance
i know its not the 5th of november, but that hasnt stopped a large part of the city setting of fireworks. so after my dinner i took a glass of wine (2001 Haut Jamin Bordeaux) my Dr Grabow Duke and a flake of penzance outside to get pleasure from other peoples expenditure (i.e watch other people's fireworks from my garden). On second thoughts i should have done it guido fawkes style with a glass of beer and my clay filled with navy flake, but my grabow was calling out to me, it was also nice cos i can clench it which means i can put my hands in my pockets to keep them warm!
a very enjoyable way to spend an hour, pipe was good, wine was great, moon was shining and the fireworks were impressive.

ahh fireworks. A few going off here - apart from scaring my dog, its all good lol. She doesn't get scared too much these days, more that she wants a cuddle and a stroke, then she goes to sleep.
Lovely display last night, a local school set some off and we could see them from indoors  .Hope you enjoyed your evening bro! andy
