Padrón Millennium Maduro *****

I loaded up a few dozen Padrón Millennium Maduro's onto my scanner to get some high quality close-ups of them, and it occurred to me after looking at the scan that they'd make killer desktop/wallpaper pictures. A must-have for Padrón sluts the world over!

Here is how it looks on my desktop (scaled down 30%):



So I retouched 'em a bit (to remove particles on the scanner), color balanced them, and scaled them to a few different popular screen sizes. There are two types of pictures:

-- The scaled pictures are the full-frame scan of a few dozen PMM's, scaled down to the size indicated.

-- The close-up pictures are the Padróns at full size in this high-resolution scan; so close up, you can see the textures in the leaves -- cropped at the size indicated.

Without further ado, here are the images:

Scaled:
-- 800x600 resolution
-- 1024x768 resolution
-- 1280x1024 resolution
-- 1600x1200 resolution

Close-up:
-- 800x600 resolution
-- 1024x768 resolution
-- 1280x1024 resolution
-- 1600x1200 resolution

If you don't see a resolution here that is the size of your monitor, don't fret. I've made available the original hires scan that you can feel free to do as you wish with. Be warned, though, it is pretty large -- 3.5mb in size, 3500x2546 resolution:

Sure thing. Just out of curiosity, which style do people prefer? The scaled or the close-up?

That's awesome man! I am going to sport the scaled 1280X1024 for a while. If I can't get my hands on one to smoke at least I can look at 'em each day and dream.
