Anyone smoke the Cammy Shark yet? If I had to guess I'd say they taste a lot like a Don Carlos (not a bad thing!). I think the regular (maduro) Anejos taste 70% Don Carlos, 25% opus and 5% unknown (but good!). Im guessing the cammy wrap will increase the Don Carlos flavor.

I've been going back and forth on whether I should order one of these samplers. I guess the decision has been made for me.

Oh well, I guess I'll order some Padilla 8/11s , Old Henrys or Pepins.

Man, sorry to miss out on that special sampler from Holts. Still, I went to their site and found that they still have the "[SIZE=-1]5 World Class Cigars by Carlos Jr.[/SIZE]" sampler, which contains the following:

Yep, it looks like Carlitos Way is history. They still have the Jr. and Sr. samplers as well as the DC. They are all a good deal if you want to sample some of the higher-end Fuente sticks.

My friend (The Grape Ape) and I were at my house getting smashed on some good bourbon and Irish Whiskey. It was about 2:45 in the morning, and we were flipping through the newly arrived Holt's catalog. I suggested that we both jump on this offer as soon as possible.

He called (again, at 2:45 in the morning, Central time.....I guess it was 3:45 in the morning there.....) and low and behold, they answered the phone (not an ansering service, she said she was on location at Holt's.....) and we both place the order. Now how many places can you call up at 3:45 in the morning and place an order like this? Sweet!

Mine arrived a few days later, and they are now resting comfortably awaiting deployment. Two thumbs up for Holt's......they've always treated me right.
