I actually grew up in Kingsport but live in Rogersville now which is about 45 miles down highway 11w from Bristol.

Too bad about Asheville. Also heard it had gone upscale in a big way. (Yuppie magnet)

Might find you a nice sugar daddy, too.

Like I said, they don't call it Little San Fran for nothing.

Just picked some of these up in St. Augustine as well. Haven't tried one yet, but the wrappers look flawless. Can anyone else chime in on how these smoke?

http://www.thecarolinacigarcompany.com/index.htm

I bought two cigars. The black reserve and red reserve. Both torpedos. I smoked the black reserve at an outdoor coffee shop. It had a great taste, reminded me of the RP Vin 90. The only complaint I might have was the store had a portable humidifier running and blowing directly on the shelf were I picked out my cigars. They were a little over humidfied (slightly spongy) but I think they will be fine if they sit in my humidor for a while.

Check out their website.
I ventured in there one time and havent been back since. The hand rolled cigar had a large hole under the band, selection wasn't all that great. I found that Bruces on Merrimon Ave to be the best in Asheville to enjoy a cigar. Free coffee and comfortable chairs and endless stories.

I've had a few of these that I picked up in Florida somewhere, they were totally unremarkable in my opinion. They have one line that the guy at La Luna on calle ocho down in Miami gets done for them, at least thats what he said. The shop I went in was very nice but the guy working there was a little pushy about the quality of the sticks.

Re: Carolina Cigar Co.

Have spent a lot of time in Boone... my son is a student at App. Wonder if they sell those sticks anywhere in Boone? I will have to look for them. Thanks for the review!
